Dover, DE --- The Delaware State softball team pounded out 27 hits in a doubleheader sweep of Maryland-Eastern in Princess Anne, MD Thursday afternoon. The Hornets had 13 hits in an 11-3 victory in the opener, and racked up 14 more in a 17-0 victory in the nightcap.
