Dover, DE – It was 17 degrees outside of Memorial Hall and it seem like the cold weather was inside also as the Delaware State Hornets had a poor shooting night that gave the Bears of Morgan State the advantage an a 54-40 win. The loss snapped a 22 game home floor conference win streak and dropped DSU to 12-11 and 9-2 in the MEAC, while the Bears improved to 9-12 and 7-3. “We lost because of a huge lack of effort. Our players did not come to play, they felt like Morgan was going to come in here and lay down,” said DSU head coach Greg Jackson.
