Dover, DE Week one of the 2007 football spring camp ended this morning (Saturday, March 24) and according to head coach Al Lavan, there were some obvious bright spots. I was generally pleased with the effort and intensity of the scrimmage. This was a basic scrimmage that allowed our staff to get a look at our personnel, said Lavan.

Norfolk, VA The Delaware State Hornets extended their win streak to six and improved to 8-2 (6-1 MEAC) with a 33-10 win over the Spartans of Norfolk State University. The loss dropped NSU to 3-7 (1-7 MEAC) and extended their losing streak to six. The win also kept the Hornets in a tie for the MEAC Championship with Hampton University.
