A mainstay on the offensive line the last two seasons. Has started at center and guard. Good student of the game. Has emerged as a team leader.

2005: Competed in nine games … missed two games due to a knee injury … began the season as a starting guard, then started several games at center after injury to Nick Richmond … helped pave the way to team season-best 471 yards (236 rushing/235 passing) during 38-6 win over Millersville … scored well in Hornets’ 363-yard effort (227 passing) during 41-14 win over Morgan State (Oct. 22). 2004: Starting center in all 11 games … helped pave the way to a season-high 167 rushing yards in 33-28 win over Norfolk State (Nov. 13) … helped lead the Hornets to a season-high 488 total yards in 34-30 loss to Morgan State (Oct. 23) … received high marks for his play in 28-23 win over Hampton (Oct. 2). 2003: Competed as a reserve and spot starter. 2002: A freshman redshirt. At Surry County HS: A two-time All-District First Team selection and two-time All-Region Second Team … helped lead the team to two state championships.
