2005: Appeared in eight games … missed first three games due to eligibility issues … sixth on the Hornets with 47 total tackles … second on the team with 11.5 tackles-for-loss (-76) and fourth in sacks with three (-16) … also credited with four quarterback hurries, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up … recorded season-high nine tackles (3 solo), including 1.5 tackles-for-loss (-5) and a fumble recovery, in his debut vs. Coastal Carolina (Sep. 24) … had eight tackles (4 solo), including three backfield stops (-20) in 17-0 win over Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 8) … involved in eight tackles, including 1.5 sacks (-7) and four other backfield stops (-17), in win over Howard (Nov. 19) … recorded four tackles, including a backfield stop (-24) and two QB hurries, in 41-14 win over Morgan State (Oct. 22) … had seven tackles (2 solo) and a QB hurry in 38-17 win over Norfolk State (Nov. 12) … credited with 1.5 sacks (-9) in 23-13 win over North Carolina A&T State (Oct. 15). 2004: Sat out the season due to academic regulations. At Westside HS: 2003 All-State, All-County, All-City and All-Conference First Team selection … played for head football coach Barin Logan … also competed in track and field (4x100-meter relay) … helped lead track and field team to state, county and city championships.
