Switched to linebacker this past spring after signing as a quarterback. Had an outstanding spring. Named Most Outstanding Defensive Player of 2006 spring game after recording three sacks. Impressed coaching staff with his adjustment to new position. One of the team’s best all-around athletes.

2005: Sat out the season as a freshman redshirt. At Milton Hershey HS: 2004 Pennsylvania All-State and three-time All-Mid Penn Conference First Team football selection … helped lead team to 8-2 overall record and conference championship during senior year … rushed for more than 1,300 yards from the quarterback position as a senior … had four 300-yard rushing games during scholastic career … led team in tackles as a linebacker during sophomore year … played for head football coach Bob Geyer … scored more than 1000 points as a guard on the school’s basketball team … was recruited by several major schools, including Penn State, Syracuse and Georgia Tech.
