Delaware State bowls in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and is an NCAA Division I team. The bowling season runs from November through March with the national championship taking place in mid-April. The competition schedule normally includes 13-14 tournament dates, most of which are out of state. The team practices at Brunswick Doverama who is a sponsor of the team. The Brunswick house is located in south Dover next to the Rodney Village Shopping Center which is about five miles from the university.
The bowling team can consist of up to 10 women bowlers of which a maximum of eight are allowed to travel. Scholarship money may be available to help with financial aid. High school seniors with a minimum of 180 scratch average should send send their contact information by filling out the recruit form.
